Pre-stressed spun concrete pole is the best alternative to replace vibrated reinforced concrete pole, wood pole & steel poles in power transmission & distribution, street lighting and microwave transmission.
Pre-stressed spun concrete pole/piles are made by reinforced steel cage, pre-stressed media (wire/strand/bar) and high strength concrete. With the centrifugal/spinning process (at least 30G and above), this gives very high compressive strength to the concrete, and also polished like finishing on the pole/pile surface. The centrifugal/spinning process also making the pole hollow in the center, hence reducing the concrete weight by at least 50% if compares with the normal vibrated reinforced concrete poles/piles.
The high compressive strength also making this pre-stressed spun concrete pole/pile honeycomb free, thus water and air cannot penetrate into the steel structure inside the poles/piles, therefore the service life span can go more than 50 years.
The relevant equipments are, spinning machine, moulds, tensioning machine, transferring carts, etc.
